When do my charges begin and end when renting a limousine?
This is referred to as "Trip Time" and is based on the chauffeur's time of departure from our location until the return to our location.
What is your minimum hourly requirement?
There is a three hour minimum in most cases such as nights out on the town and weddings. There are exceptions for Airport transfers and most corporate services. Please call us with specific questions regarding hourly minimums. Let us tailor the trip to your needs.
How do I know what size limousine is best for my needs?
Limousines are rated by the number of passengers they are allowed to hold. New Millenium Limo has sedans (2-3 passengers), stretch limousines (up to 6 passengers), super stretch limousines (up to 10 passengers), SUV's (up to 7 passengers), vans (up to 14 passengers) and super stretch SUV's (up to 14 passengers). For the best comfort for your event you should subtract 2 from the above numbers (except for sedans). If you are booking airport transportation, please be aware of the size and amount of luggage your party has; if you have 8 people going to the airport with a lot of luggage you would want to consider using the 14 passenger SUV or our 14 passenger van for the most comfort.
How do I reserve a limousine?
Use the online reservation form or simply call our office with a credit card number. For new customers your card will be charged on the date you book your trip. For established accounts in good standing, the trip will be charged once it is complete. If your trip requires a deposit, i.e. proms, weddings, special events, the deposit will be charged the day you book your trip. If you would like to pay by check we still need a credit card number to hold your reservation. All personal check payments must be received 10 days prior to your event. Please contact us for information regarding the establishment of a new corporate account.
Can I pay cash for the trip?
Cash is always accepted; however we do need to have a credit card on file to hold a reservation.
How do I handle the gratuity for the chauffeur?
Standard gratuity is between 15% and 20% of your trip, about what you would pay at a restaurant. For most trips we do not dictate gratuity except in the case of a wedding or prom where there is a required minimum for gratuity. You can either pay your chauffeur cash or we can add the gratuity to your credit card after the trip is completed.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled vehicle departure are subject to a $25 rescheduling fee. Cancellations within 3 hours of scheduled vehicle departure time will be charged 1/2 trip fare. No-shows and/or cancellations after scheduled vehicle departure will be charged full fare, including gratuity.
NOTE: Cancellations or changes CANNOT be made by e-mail, voice message or fax within 24 hours of reservation departure time without a phone conversation with the dispatcher. An emergency phone number is provided during non-business hours.
